Coming into the finales of this Top Drift season we where 2nd in the championship fight by only a single point. With stiff competition throughout the entire field we knew that we couldn’t let our guard down and we would have to bring our best for Round 4.

Round 3 of Top Drift is wrapped up and I wish I could say it was a walk in the park. We came into this event knowing that we needed a better tire to keep the competitive edge. We were lucky to team up with Zestino Tires just in time.

Round 2 of Top Drift was this past weekend and I am happy to say that the team and the car performed great with no major issues. We went into this event a little low on tires so we kept the practice to a minimum so that we would insure we would have enough tires to compete the following day.

On my follow run things didn’t go as planned. Now the car that is leading the run is positioned on our right. This is the side closest to the first outer clipping point. When the flagger released us, Blake went around a cone to our right, placing him on the outside of what I thought was the actual course.

The first round of Top Drift ProAm was this past weekend, and man was it a fight the whole time for us. Just getting to the event was filled with drama. Saturday morning, on our way to Willow Springs International Raceway, we suffered an issue with the truck that sidelined us for hours. We where lucky to be able to get off the freeway and get everything fixed.

After a hard fought and promising looking year of racing it all came down to the last round of Top Drift. The car felt great and we where excited to get the competition started. I had been running the same high line up against the wall all day before qualifying and felt really comfortable.
